My brain, it hurts

I might cross post one or twice in here, but I'm over there too. Yeah...there --->http://www.theprincesangel.com/Blog/home/index.php

I did find out what a YEC is. Young Earth Creationist. Is that somebody who believes the Earth is six thousand (or so) years old? And the billion year old rocks were, in reality, placed here by aliens to confuse the masses. Thus perpetuating the eternal battle between evolutionists vs. creationists. A YEC therefore must be the total opposite of an evolutionist and/or atheist. Correct me if I`m wrong.

But what of us that are IDGAD? We are completely left out of the equation. I find that highly insulting, and it increases my persecution complex.

For those not in the know, IDGAD stands for I Don`t Give A Damn How It Happened. We`re Standing On The Damn Thing And That Really Is The Point. I was just too lazy to type all the initials.

Listen carefully, class. I will try to explain the current popular theory of evolutionists, creationists, Christians, atheists, Muslims, Jewish (long list, ain`t it?) Fundamentalists, the Militant Left and Right, and George Bush.

The linear school of A is also B but only if A is similar to the triangular equation of S,T, U. If A doesn`t meet that criteria and refuses to do a jig every Thursday then it clearly is not of the A variety, and most definitely not a B. However, keep in mind, if an A (with STU) qualities does the appropriate jig but it is done before 9 am, then it falls into the O label. It can call itself A, proclaiming A properties, but it is lying to itself and in denial. It has P, I, D triangular elements. We must realistically apply the IKMTY equation. Whether they want us to or not. It is the only way.

(IKMTY--Superiority of brain mass + Absolute Knowledge - ten degrees of lack of reality = I Know More Than You to the tenth power).

On a side note, class, we have discovered: The lower the age of the theorist, the higher the IKMTY factor. It can also work in reverse as well, thus increasing the IKMTY factor to unbearable levels.

Choosing to ignore the theory above, Anti-humans follow the GTFOOMF theory. (Common sense + I like what I believe - any ability to take anything seriously = Get The Fuck Out Of My Face to the umpteenth power).

Of course, there are the UPYOURS spacial deviations. While anti-humans acknowledge the existence of such; evolutionists, creationists, (etc etc etc), proclaiming superior brains, do not follow that line of reasoning.

Silly humans.

Becoming anti-human in my old age wisdom gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling. Now class, go out and spread the word. Make me proud of your anti-human status. Proclaim it in your LJ's.

Humans scare me. They really do.

(Ok, now I `m done. Love you. Bye-bye.)

Dominion teaser ahead

First off, The Cowboy and the Thief trailer can be seen and/or downloaded from http://www.theprincesangel.com/booktrailers.html

Second, I really want to thank Kolt for allowing usage of his images. Out of six models I asked, only 1 said yes. It's really a bitch trying to find male models for a photo shoot to use for gay romance ebook trailers. I mean a real bitch

Dominic was suddenly behind him, one arm going around Grif's waist, pulling him back hard as Dominic ground his hips forward. “Keep it up,” Dominic growled, “and I'll bend you over the dresser.”

“Not allowed,” Grif laughed as he leaned back. Turning his head, he begged silently
for a kiss.

Dominic turned him around and lifted Grif up, sitting him on the dresser. “Just a taste?” Dominic leaned in for a kiss, tongue sliding into Grif's mouth as a hand slipped down the front of Grif's pants. Grif moaned softly as his lover’s fingers glided over the tip of his cock. He tightened his hold around Dominic’s neck as he opened to the demanding kiss. A small shift of his hips almost had him falling off the dresser as he tried to press harder into Dominic's hand.

“Fuck, Dominic, fuck.” They were the only words Grif could get out before his lips tightened again to his lover's. Dominic had the power to scatter all reason simply with the touch of his hand.

Dominic curled his fingers tight around the shaft and started fucking Grif's mouth with his tongue. With every pull up, his thumb grazed the head, pressing into the slit. His other hand worked Grif’s pants down just a bit more and then Dominic pulled away from the kiss, dropping to his knees to swallow Grif to the root.

Grif couldn't even think about anything else as he felt the hot mouth closing over him. He lifted his hands to Dominic's head, fingers catching in his hair tightly. It would take very little to send him over the edge. A forward thrust of his hips kept him buried inside Dominic's mouth as he began to shake.

Eyes rolling up to stare into Grif's, Dominic started a continuous suck-and-slide motion, hands wrapping to Grif's hips to encourage the movement.

“Come for me, love.”

A sharp cry rose in Grif’s throat and broke free as Dominic's words took over his mind. “Dominic!” He came hard, shudders rolling through him.

Dominic swallowed and licked him clean before standing back up, giving him a wink. “Now we can go out.”

“Bastard.” Grif's lips quirked into a smile as he slid off the dresser and tried to pull his pants back up. He always enjoyed the little displays of Dominic's power over him, which was why he egged his lover on.

Dominion is done. Liz finished the first edits, and I'm doing back up. The sequel to The Power of Two came out great. Poor Griff got put through the wringer, but he came out a lot stronger and more confident in himself. With the help of Dominic.

Kitten 2 is coming very fast. We already have 18,000 words done on it, and the plot is still flowing. I am having a blast writing this one up. More ideas are still popping in our heads, and we still have at least half of the outline to write. So I'm really not sure how large Kitten 2 will end up being.

Love and the Straight Gay-Received an email from one of the Loose Id editors. He like the first 3 chapters and the plot line of the story, and wants to see the rest. I'm quick reading over it one last time before I send it all to him. If Loose Id accepts, they'll be our fourth publisher. *does the snoopy dance*

Duke's and the adventure story are completely done now. Kat has the first 6 on both, and I'm waiting to hear back if she wants to rest the rest. Next we'll be focusing on 2050 and Through The Dark.

After a rewrite on Blood, I got through the edits and handed it over to Liz to read over for me. As soon as I get it back from her, I'll subbed it to Samhain.

Plus I have a new short coming out from Torquere, entitled Dark Submission.

Our next round of submissions is a long list. Yes, I am feeling accomplished. Heh

They also banned recognition of any couples living together, whether same sex or opposite sex. Now people are getting a little pissy about it all. But hey, if you're gonna ban gay people living together from recognition of any kind of legal status, you have to throw out the hets with the bathwater too. I call that very fair.

Of course unless you really do believe people can have a special status because they chose to live with the 'right sex'. I'm dying to see how all of this will play out in court. I'd like to lay bets on the first asshole that uses the 'right sex' claim to demand opposite sex couples living together get their rights back. You soooo know they are going to crawl out of the wood work.

Amanda, Jared, Richie and I were having dinner at China Buffet. The requisite fortune cookies were passed around and Jared got the most unusual fortune I've ever seen.

Behind an able man. Stands many more able men.

Somehow I don't think the writer meant what we all thought he meant. But it give us one hell of a laugh.

At the moment I am drowning in The Middle Kingdom 12th Dynasty Abydos, Egypt. Finished the 1st chapter of the Legends novel. Had a fling with Alexander and sidetracked into the Greek States. Not to mention the jaunt to Rome pre-Imperial. This is all after a trip to the library and having to make two trips from car to house to bring in all 20 books I'd gotten for research. And I'm not done yet. I need to head back tomorrow to get more on Rome. And Athens. And Macedonia.

Khasekhemwy has been filling my head with his story, and it's hard to keep up, but I'm managing. Dio and Nikolai have been adding their two cents as well. Sometimes it feels like my head is so full of information, I'll never get it all down on paper. Hrmmmm.

The Story of Khasekhemwy

In the sacred inner chamber where Osiris rested, Khasekhemwy sat beside his goddess, listening to her. Although the meal in front of them was sumptuous, Isis had touched none of it. Instead she let Khasekhemwy feast on the fowl, turnips and dates that had been set before them.

“Who taught you to see those who wander without the Book of Dead to guide them, Khasekhemwy?”

“My mother.”

Musingly, Isis stared at the goblet of wine in her hand. “I believe we were once as them, but I am uncertain.”

“Many times I have led a spirit towards the land of the dead, but I have never seen one as you. Most times the oldest ones would attack me once they realized I could see them. If you are no more than a spirit, you would be like them. My mother explained that those who had wandered too long among the living became more like the crocodiles of the Nile.” He had noticed some spirits didn’t seem to recognize him as being similar to them. Their oddly vacant, slack expressions would change in a heartbeat, and they would try to harm him even though they couldn’t.

“We once sat on the throne , Khasekhemwy.” A dreamy, distant expression made her seem far away from him. “But jealousy created everything on these walls.”

He studied the murals depicting the story of Osiris and his murder at the hands of his brother, Seth. He knew the tale of how Seth tricked Osiris into a coffin and threw it into the Nile. Isis eventually found the coffin and freed her husband. When Seth found out, he attacked Osiris again and cut his body in fourteen parts then scattered them along the Nile valley. Isis found all the pieces, buried each and build temples over them. Khasekhemwy now knew the last part was a lie. Glancing towards the body of Osiris he could detect no signs of life. Yet no decay marred the unlined skin of Osiris face. He appeared a youthfully handsome man with golden hair.

It's Starting Again

Wow, when I started Blood Ties, the 1st book I created in the Romanorum world, I had no clue it would grow like this. I’ve written two and half books based on Persys, Gabriel and Xander. Blood Ties, Blood Magic and Blood Sins. Then Mychael and I got together and wrote The Prince’s Angel, And the Two Shall Become One, half of Forever May Not Be Long Enough, and the beginning of Prince of Canterbury. Three novels revolving around Mael, Prince of London and Cian Carmichael, angel/sorcerer extraordinaire, and the last dealing with Mael and Cian’s children.

Now I have another one. After deciding to write The Legends of the Romanorum, and I’m not sure of what the title it will be, I wrote the first 3,000 words yesterday. I would call it The Legends of the Romanorum except for the fact it also deals with the world of the mummies with Xander, Osiris and Isis and a host of other Egyptian deities.

At first I thought I would be stuck writing 3 or more novels then I figured I would write Xander, Dio, Nikolai and Gabriel’s stories in one novel. Makes it so much easier for me. I went to bed at about 12:30 last night and nobody would shut up.

I had Dio filling me in on details then Nikolai started then Gabriel. I think it was about 1:30 when I told everybody to shut up. Damn, once they get started, they don’t shut up. My characters haven’t bugged me this much since I finished And the Two Shall Become One.

I think this book will be like the prequel to The Legends series. It starts with Khasekhemwy (Xander) and his life in Egypt in 1800 BC. His part ends around 50 BC. Dio’s part starts with the creation of the vampire formulas. Nikolai’s part begins around 151 BC and will run through to the 1500’s. Which is where Gabriel’s part will start. The story deals with each man and their histories and parts in the Romanorum, including Xander who hooks up with Gabriel and ends up accompanying him to America around 1900. It ties everybody in, including Mael. Though Mael won’t be in this book, mention will be made of him by Nikolai.

The entire novel will probably end with the renegades attacking the Romanorum and the war between mortals and vampires in the 1960’s. I need to get some research done today so I’ll be at the library for a few hours.

At the moment I’m dealing with the relationship between Xander, Osiris and Isis. I have to admit it’s a fascinating history.

On other fronts- EC let us know they were interested in Love and the Straight Gay and wanted the rest of the chapters. Unfortunately, it would take them another 6 to 12 months to make a final decision. Mychael and I decided to withdraw the submission from EC. I’m going back over it over the next couple weeks then we’ll ship it out to another publisher. Target date: By the end of Dec. The Power sequel, Realms of Fantasy, and Adventures will also be going out.

End of January Duke’s Husband will be going out. I’m also hoping 2050 will be ready to go, and seriously crossing my fingers that my newest Legends will be ready. The Legends is definitely going to Tor. Since the novel will be, in the majority, a history, I’m definitely thinking Tor Fantasy. There will be relationships. Xander, Osiris and Isis, and one of Xander’s host. Nikolai and Callista, Gabriel and Bianca. But they won’t be the focus of the novel. Nor will it necessarily be a romance or erotic romance. Hence why I want it to go to Tor.

I’m also hoping Mychael and I will have a good portion of the Kitten sequel done by end of January. We have the plot, we just need to get it on paper, or Wordpad as the case may be. Mychael has a commitment for a 20,000 word pirate novella, I have a few commitments as well. And I’m fairly sure Mychael will have more contracted work due in the next coming months. I’m also in the middle of writing a heat sheet for Phaze’s Fury which needs to be done by Feb. I think.

Wow, when I started Blood Ties, the 1st book I created in the Romanorum world, I had no clue it would grow like this. I’ve written two and half books based on Persys, Gabriel and Xander. Blood Ties, Blood Magic and Blood Sins. Three novels revolving around Mael, Prince of London and Cian Carmichael, angel/sorcerer extraordinaire, and the last dealing with Mael and Cian’s children.

Thinking back to the start of it all, it is weird to be writing the beginning of it all with Legends. Torquere Press has dibs on the four involving Mael and Cian. I’m hoping Tor will pick up the other 4. It’s been about 5 years since I started writing Blood Ties, I’m not sure if I want to know where I’ll be led in the next 5 with it.

Mychael and I have gathered a fan base with our beginning works-Power of Two, Kitten, The Favor of a God, Pirate’s Lair, and I’m grateful to every last one who bought the novellas and stories. I think I finally found the niche I was searching for.

Right now I'm working on the book trailers for The Prince's Angel, Magic and the Pagan, Love and the Straight Gay, Onyx, and Cowboy and the Thief. Found the models for Mael, Evan, and Aidan, now I just need to find Cian. Got some of the patterns I need for Mael and Aidan's outfits. This should be really fun.

Just sent Onyx to Phaze for it's Fetish Heat Sheet. That's the only work we sent out so far. I've been working on a couple of other pieces for Erotic Dreams. And I swear I will get Power sequel done and out to Phaze by end of month. Yeah right.

The Kitten trailer is done. I'm just awaiting word on whether or not we can use a particular song I want for it. As soon as I hear back, we'll get the trailer on YouTube. We received Inkubus Sukkubus' permission to use Vampyre Erotica for The Prince's Angel trailer, just waiting to hear if we can use Away with the Faeries, Samhain, and I Am The One for other trailers. *crosses fingers*

It's seeming lately that every time we put something out, they want a sequel. Not complaining, but we're backlogged on the darn things. Power still needs 3,000 more words and Kitten is a plot line right now. Pirate's Lair is still an idea waiting to be written. It's mindboggling. My comments in red.

Comments range from drudging up the word Nazi to labelling all Catholics.

2 words....FUCK U MISTER POPE!!! I'm Catholic, and I am always on you're side...but this is pushing it!!! GGGGRRRRZZZZZZ TO THE POPE!

One sane commenter mentioned something about priests molesting kids passing by the above commenter's notice but OMG, they're attacking Harry Potter.

Next we have:

What a shame that the Catholic Church has nothing better to do than to say bad things about a wonderful book. There is real evil in the world and the Vatican turns the other cheek, but will abhor a beloved character. Ironic eh.

Thankfully, being religious has nothing to do with listening to the Pope and his strange rantings.

Wow, the Rev. Gabriele Amorth became Pope. AND represents the views of every living Catholic too. When did that happen?

I cannot say that I am surprised at these words. They are the words of an extremely closed-minded organisation (for want of a better word).

While others try to chill the fray with comments of:
Well, Isn't this nice. Generalizing about a religion. 13 + pages bashing the Roman Catholic church. Nice.

Sanity yet again:
(a)This guy is 75 years old.
(b) He doesn't report to the Pope, and he's not at the Vatican. He's a priest in the Diocese of Rome.
(c)He says he has arguments with the devil every day. (He speaks Latin, Satan speaks Italian.)
(d) Yes, he's the head of an association of exopcists. Not surprising, since he founded it.
Forget him. He doesn't represent the Pope, or the Catholic Church, or anyone else.

Taking something this seriously that has no serious relevance in the world is a wasted occupation on both sides.

Just check out the LJ entry below to enter the contest.

Just got back today from visiting my sister and attending my nephew's wedding. Big surprise to find my father there as well. One of the more surreal moments in my life to be in the same room as the old man and not say a word to him. I got the look of death from my stepmother in the church, and figured at that point, I'd just stay out of the way. *L*

One day I'm going to move in with my sis. Her house is awesomely peaceful and quiet. She also has this huge fish pond in her back yard. I felt a plot bunny every time I saw it. I definitely got in the habit of sitting on her back porch watching Hoover, Ice, Slick, Belle, Mutt, Clair, Billy Joe, and there were about 30 more I didn't memorize their names.

But being a Master in his own right, Grif resisted the notion of Dominic controlling him in any way. With startling skill, Dominic sets out to change that refusal. He has his own deep interest in him, born of watching Grif's submission at the hand of another Master. Even though Dominic can't help but toy with his old friend, in truth, he wants him only an equal. But how to convince Grif without letting his guard down is Dominic's biggest issue.

Aware of some of that interest but not the reason for it, Grif has his own secret. His trust had been violated by his own vampire Master, and since that night, he's refused to let another dominate him. And he'd swore to himself that no one ever would.

I'm sitting here, mulling over the term Christian liberal. After the gasp of disbelief from the general populace has died down, I'm still sitting here thinking about it.

The mystical creature, rarer than a unicorn. Is there such a thing? *raises a hand* Though lately I've been waffling between outright refusing to be called a Christian and figuring Christian liberals do exist because I am one.

An erotic romance writer that happens to be Christian and liberal. I think I've barreled through way too many preconceived notions just with that statement alone. I define Christian as believing in Christ. Check. Please un-define the notion as Pat Robertson right wing god hates fags and you're all going to hell. I really hate that. I'm liberal to the point that I believe people should do their own thing. It might not be my thing, but then I'm not the entire population of this earth.

Abortion-me, no. I'm just not going to dictate what every other women does. If there's any answering to be done for actions, that's between whoever and whoever. I'm sooo not stepping into that one.

Gay marriage- yes, allow it. I think the better notion would be to ban marriage altogether. But being too radical of a notion, I'll settle for letting every nit wit that wants to get married to get married. It only means more money for the divorce lawyers anyhow. The last time I started the Bann Marriage Initiative, not too many got on the bandwagon.

Death penalty- I really do waffle on that. Most times I don't believe it should be allowed, until I watch something on Court TV. Then I'll rant about such things as 'ya know, they should execute that sob." And how many others do that as well? Yes, I'm curious.

Separation of church and state- God, please, let them be separate. Any understanding that people do believe in God is fine. Quite a few folks do, but trying to use government to legislate morality isn't. If God isn't legislating it, why are you? Nobody really likes it when other people try to tell them what to do. Some people need to wrap their brain around that concept and get intimately acquainted with it.

And amazingly, I still believe in God and Jesus. Which proves that yes, one can believe in the two and not be a complete flake. I write gay, lesbian and het erotic romance. Yes, I shall be judged on the altar of Hell. *rolls her eyes* Me and God have already had a talk about that. I don't pray to the omnipresent all power being, I talk. Well, except when I'm desperate. Then it's more, "Oh, please, God...." It took me a very long time to gain my relationship with the higher powers.

I want to tell folks like Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, and Phelps to get the hell out of my belief. You're ruining it for the rest of us. Not to mention, you're the reason I'm starting to get pissy with the term Christian. It's getting to be a fucking label for right wing fundamentalists.

Am I the only one that is getting pissy because what books went in the Bible was decided by some ancient Catholic guy? The more I learn, the less I really like the fact too many people are basing everything they believe on some old Catholic dude's decisions.

Is there a term for somebody who believes what they believe and is more than happy to let everybody else believe whatever they choose? As long as everybody shuts up about it. That's a strong requisite. You can believe in anything, but you keep it to yourself.

Eh, I'm just ranting and musing. Need to write. I have a demonologist and an elf yelling at me. And a co-author. Is it any wonder anybody in this world would prefer a fantasy world over what we actually live in?

Does anybody out have the best epic ever written? Just don't know what the hell to do with it?

Your answer is here. Basically it's how I got my start. I joined Em's forum. She has an incredible list of epublishers and info for getting your own ass published. And it's all for free.

http://veinglory.8.forumer.com/index.php

Don't hold your hopes out for getting a million dollar contract with a big name publisher. Starting means getting your foot in the door. A lot of the epublishers do accept smaller works ranging from 10,000 on up. Some even take 5,000 words.

Here's a list off the top of my head for epublishers:

Phaze They accept 5,000 - 90,000
Torquere Press They accept 1,000 on up. Heads up, Torquere currently is looking for pirates, weres, cowboys, and the like
Ellora's Cave 50,000 on up. Word of warning, EC wants explicit sex and lots of it, with characters meeting fairly quickly
Loose ID
Samhain Publishing They prefer 60,000 on up, but will consider smaller works
Changling Press 10,000 - 25,000 for first time authors
Venus Press 5,000 - 80,000

These are all reputable epublishers that either I have worked with, or know a lot of others who have worked with them. None require literary agents and do accept unsolicited manuscripts.

Once you have that publishing contract, the work begins. And it's not just in the edits. Every publisher expects you to seriously promote your own work. That means appearance in chats, crowing about your work in LJ, to your friends, every damn place you can think of. Posting excerpts and even other free stories on your own website are good ones too. It helps to gain a fan following. Let the readers see your style in freebie stories and good excepts. That's what I have The Prince's Angel website for.

At this point, we have six good sized stories, free to read in their entirety. Plus a Plot Bunny page where we post the works as we write them. Some might argue that's not a good idea to post unedited works in progress, but I say 'what the hell'.

Plus we also send stories to publishers like Forbidden Fruit and Erotic Dreams so readers can see more free stories we've written. Yeah, it's nice to get the royalites for the paying stuff, but it really helps to have free works floating out there as well.

Honestly, there is no magic formula for getting published. Of course, you could always start your own publishing company. Mwahahahaha. It's in the works. *EG*

On the personal promotion side, Mychael is editing Pirate's Lair to be subbed to Torquere (target date end of this week). I already edited Magic and the Pagan, and Mychael is looking over the first 4 chapters so we can get it out to Samhain (target date end of this week). We're putzing with 2050, trying to decide whether to keep it short at the 30,000 range or go all out on it. Work on the sequels to Power and Kitten are progressing.

I know, I know. It's been awhile.

On the professional front, Kitten and The Cowboy and the Thief are out to Phaze. Awaiting acceptance. Love and the Straight Gay went out to EC. Magic and the Pagan is going out soon, as is Pirate's Lair. Torquere accepted The Favor of a God and is on the lookout for pirate, were, cowboys and everything in between cept for vampires.

I'm busily working on the sequels to Power and Kitten. Don't have a title for Power sequel, but Kitten's is Wolf.

On the personal front, going to see my sis at the end of Aug. My nephew is getting married so I have got to be there. I missed my niece's wedding, and don't want to miss Austin's too. Austin wants to read my work, even after I warned him about the gay sex ahead. Now I know my sis won't read it, but my nephew seems to have inherited my slightly quirky thinking gene. Not sure where I got it from. Not my mom or dad, and my sis and bro didn't get it either. Rather proud of my nephew since he should be a red necky country boy. Heh. There is progressive thought even amongst the country folk. AMEN.

Frontain is out on Erotic Dreams Zine.

The title “The Beast in Beauty” is a play on the old fairytale we all know, but in this rendition, the beast isn’t your typical unfortunate male character who stupidly got himself cursed. In this story, the beast is a female, or rather a pair of females, and the unfortunate prince is not exactly the innocent or hapless type, and very disinclined to letting a curse, or anyone, get the better of him. The beasts in this story might wish they had passed their curse on to someone else. (warning: MMF/adult content)

Zine membership is free. Join-up and enjoy monthly installments of erotica.

And a little extra blurb for part two: our cursed prince already runs with a pack, or at least a subordinate hopeful, so watch out lady beasts.

Yes, I’m a writing fool today. ERWA and Desdemona’s Fishtank have been kink…er kind enough to run our CAM announcements. Thank you very much, guys.

Also I’m busy trying to bribe…um, talk Stacy King into working with ED. Stacy is the publisher of Phaze. If you guys got any stories, subbed to them. If you want some good erotic reads, check our their ebook catalogue. Phaze also has print books. They really do work with the authors and keep them in the loop about what’s going on with their stories when they’ve been accepted.

Next up. Sable needs money, yes she does. Bah. We’re busy flinging around ideas for a possible series subscription service, paid advertising, selling ourselves on street corners. *coughs* If you want to join in the discussion, join our Yahoo group

Submissions for July are closed. We’ve accepted 8 new stories, 8 poems for July, and 3 new series, slated for June. I‘ll be letting sneaks peeks out over the next few months.

I've already got the next parts for My Heart Is Within You, The Beauty In The Beast, and The Haunted Manse formatted. I need to snag Kay, Jourdan, Kc and Teri for an ED conference soon to get cracking on July's issue.

On a personal note, son #2 came home for a night on his way to McGuire AFB for schooling. He'll be back through in a month and a half to stay for a few days. Then he's on his way to Turkey. *sighs* Better than Iraq, but damn, I don't like my kid so far away. I'm such a clingy parent. Hrmmm.

Son #5 and I got into a heavy duty discussion about God and of all things Judas. I was watching the Book of Judas special and found it extremely interesting. That lead to a God conversion between me and my son. I had no idea the boy was that open to discussion. Nice to find these things before they leave home.

Couldn't resist posting pics of the kiddies. Check out the progression below of #1 daughter. So damn hard to believe.

#1 daughter young

#1 daughter somewhere in the middle

The Air Force #2 son and #1 daughter

#4 son. Hard to believe this is the same kid that graduated last year.

They really do grow up too fast.
